In 2017, Roy Opuba, a seasoned professional with over a decade of expertise in freighting and customs clearance, envisioned a logistics company that would redefine the industry. This vision materialized into CIEN Logistics Ltd, a dynamic force in the world of logistics, providing comprehensive solutions in sea, air, land, and customs clearance.
CIEN Logistics Ltd was founded by Roy Opuba, a trailblazer with a wealth of experience in the intricacies of freighting and customs clearance. His vision was to establish a logistics powerhouse capable of seamlessly integrating services across various domains.
Who we are
A control tower for cargo that cannot wait.
CIEN Logistics is an international freight forwarding house. We run air, sea and road freight, customs, warehousing and last mile — with specialist handling for aircraft spares, pharmaceuticals, humanitarian cargo, industrial parts, renewable energy, beverages, cosmetics and apparel.
The work is practical: correct entries, intact seals, booked capacity and a person who answers when a truck is delayed at Malaba or an AOG engine is on the ramp.

Uganda office
Kampala desk opened in Kololo for URA, northern-corridor road and Entebbe air freight.
